Hykuzia

Hykuzia is a story project created by Shasta Kito that follows a co-ed idol group called Hykuzia. The six members are based in the fictional location of Sairiichi, Hidoroshi. Inspired by Japan, South Korea, and the USA, Hidoroshi is its own island nation in the North Pacific Ocean. Sairiichi is a quaint, laidback town on the east coast of Hidoroshi, known for its old lighthouse that mysteriously shines every night despite the structure having been abandoned and closed off from access centuries ago.

I (Shasta Kito) am the sole author behind Hykuzia. I am an early 30s writer with a passion specifically for creating characters. I blend a college education in psychology with various life experiences and inspirations to create characters who are compelling and layered. I have been telling stories since I could speak, and I have been writing them down since I could put pen to paper. Though life has had a way of transforming me over the years, writing has always been that anchor that I have been both unwilling and unable to let go of.
